To kill time I set out to do a mental reset, and experience, at least, 1 hour a day of „Corona Free Mood“. In a very homemade way, using a mobile phone that isn’t even the latest model in technology, and with no special light, I decide not to hibernate but rather to challenge my imagination to run wild, to create this project: “A mask a day keeps the doctor away”, for Instagram and Facebook: a small window opened to the street in times of quarantine. But the big pushup to all this was in fact the birthday of my nephew Joaquim on the 21st of March — world poetry and forestry day — He blewup 10 candles by Skype while I sang the happy birthday song with a crazy mask on, to make it all more fun. The moment was magic and so I decided, at that moment, that crazy masks would be my quarantine mark. March/April 2020. Be Brave&Bright.
